What does it take to be an ICT Student

           Nowadays, that we are in the modern age, some of us is being now carried by it in a wrong doing. Technology now is way of other people to do bad things to other people and even also of themselves.

            It is good to the entire computer user or even all people that use technology, that in their young age or before they start to use, there should be a lesson that will make them think what they do in the technology. The ict is a subject that teaches the student to do more better than what they know in the computer.  You should have a wide knowledge because you have to memorize all the tags to be able not to commit mistake in doing some of your work. When doing a work by the ict student, they should know what will be the effect of it to themselves and in the feelings of others. An ict student should love what they are doing because if they don’t, they might do some things that it is not good.

            There is only one rule to be an ict student and that is giving love to the things that you are doing.

Kannawidan: The Ylocos Festival

The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival on January 29 to February 5, 2012 drew local and foreign tourists as more entertaining events had been included in the celebrations. Through this “Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, we are preserving and sustaining our old traditions, attractive products and practices as we are also promoting our tourism industry.

The province has a rich heritage and unique cultures that need to be preserved for the next generations. However, many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano cultures were not already familiar to the younger generations due to the influence of the television, computer and internet. But,  through  our Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, these traditions, customs and cultures are revived to become more entertaining to give more fun and attractions to the visiting tourists in the province. The 2012 Kannawidan Ylocos Festival opened with a concelebrated mass held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral followed by a procession of the patron saints of the 40 parishes including the images of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary around the province’s capital city in the afternoon of on January 29.
The trade and agri fair displayed all products from the different towns of the Ilocos Sur and its nearby provinces. The annual “Pinaka Contest” was also held to give citations the local farmers’ extraordinary farm and fishery products and livestock.

            Kannawidan in Ilocos is very important to be able to know the next generation on what is our tradition  that we have inherited in our ancestors.
